-DESCRIPTION:

Oxytetracycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic with bacteriostatic action against a large number of gram-positive and gram-negative organisms.

The bacteriostatic effect is based on the inhibition of the synthesis of bacterial proteins.

-INDICATION:

To treat infectious desease caused by gram positive and gram negative bacterial sensitive to Oxytetracycline in cases of respiratory ,intestinal ,dermatological genitourinary and septicemic infections in equine,cattle,sheep,goat,swine and dog.

-SIDE EFECTS:

1)Do not use the product in ewes producing milk for human consumption .oxytetra 20% LA is not recommended for use in horses,dogs and cats.

2) SADo not dilute oxytetra 20% LA

3)Although oxytetra 20% LA is well tolerated,occasionally a slight reaction of a transient nature has been observed.

4)Not for use in animals suffering from renal or hepatic damage.

5)The use the oxytetra 20% LA during  the period of tooth and bone development,including late pregnancy,may lead to discolouration.

6)If concurrent treatment is administered,use a separate injection site.

7)Wash hands after use,In case of contact with eyes of skin,wash immediately with water as irritation may occur.

-CAUTION:

Stop medication at least 7 days prior to slaughter of the animals for meat purpose

Milk of treated animals should not be used for human consumption 3 days post administration .
